Jennifer Aniston was born in Sherman Oaks, California on February 11, 1969. She is the daughter of Greek-American actor John Aniston and actress Nancy Dow. She spent most of her childhood in Greece with her family, but then moved to New York City. In 1989, Aniston moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting career.
She was shortly cast in television roles such as the TV series Molloy and TV movie Camp Cucamonga. Aniston considered quitting after a failure of shows and movies. Her plans soon changed as she was cast as Rachel Green in the new TV sitcom Friends.
Jennifer Aniston and actor Brad Pitt married in July 29, 2000. They divorced in 2005. She has since been linked to half of the men in Hollywood.
