Megan Denise Fox was born May 16, 1986 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She was raised in a "very poor" household, but began her acting and dance training at age 5. She won several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in South Carolina, which brought her deeper into the acting and modeling world.
In 2001, Megan Fox scored her first film role in "Holiday in the Sun," which starred Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. After that, she mostly had guest roles in TV shows until 2004, when she starred with Lindsay Lohan in "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen." She also won a recurring role in the TV series "Hope & Faith" from 2004 to 2006. Her biggest break, though, came with her role as Mikaela Banes in the massively popular 2007 film "Transformers."
Megan Fox is signed on for two more "Transformers" sequels. She will appear in "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People," which is due in late 2008. She will also join Amanda Seyfried and Adam Brody in the Diablo Cody dark comedy "Jennifer's Body." Fox will reportedly appear nude in the film. Megan Fox has modeled in several magazines, including FHM, Maxim and Arena.
Fox is engaged to "Beverly Hills, 90210" actor Brian Austin Green. She has nine tattoos, including one of Marilyn Monroe's face on her right arm. She has stated that she's tried illegal drugs and did not like them, adding that she is "one of few in Hollywood not using them."
